Extremely lightweight 2-person tent made from Dyneema fabric
The Samaya 2.0 is a super light 2-person tent from Samaya, which is ideal for your next trekking tour thanks to its small pack size. If you are looking for a particularly lightweight dome tent, this is the model for you. The tent is constructed with an outer tent only and doesn’t need an inner tent. In addition, the construction only features one wall, which allows you to save a lot of weight so that your backpack won't be too heavy on your next ultra-light tour. Inside the enclosed stuff sack, the trekking tent barely takes up any storage space in a walking backpack.
Tough Dyneema fabric provides stability
The bottom and parts of the side wall are made from the particularly tear-resistant Dyneema material. This fabric is waterproof and provides excellent protection against moisture thanks to a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm. Meanwhile, the rest of the outer wall is constructed from a three-layer material which, thanks to its PU coating, is windproof and waterproof, forcing rain to simply roll off. For the frame, the manufacturer relies on FeatherLite NFL from DAC, which is made of lightweight aluminium.
