Product description
Enjoy dry feet in any weather
With the Women's Quest 5 GORE-TEX, Salomon presents walking boots that have been specially developed for challenging tours. GORE-TEX technology protects you from moisture and ensures that your feet stay comfortably dry and fresh even in changeable weather. The OrthoLite insole offers you long-lasting cushioning and supports a comfortable foot climate. The EnergyCell midsole effectively cushions shocks, making even long descents more comfortable.
Safe on any surface
Whether on steep climbs or rocky descents, the Contagrip sole gives you a secure grip on any surface. At the same time, the toe cap protects your toes from debris and roots, while the heel loops make them easy to put on and take off. Plus, the individually adjustable lacing system allows the boots to fit your feet perfectly and prevents pressure points. This means you are well equipped for spontaneous weather changes and challenging trails.
Easy to clean after every adventure
The durable synthetic material makes the boots lightweight and easy to care for. After a tour through wet meadows or muddy paths, they are easy to clean and dry quickly. The material is less susceptible to moisture damage than leather, which increases its service life. This means that the Women's Quest 5 GORE-TEX will remain a reliable choice even after many adventures and be ready for your next tour.
The advantages at a glance:
- GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet dry in any weather
- OrthoLite insole for long-lasting comfort
- Contagrip sole ensures a secure grip
- Toe cap protects against debris and roots
- Easy to clean and quick to dry

Tried sizes 40 and 40 2/3. In regular shoes I usually wear size 40, while my Lowa Renegade GTX boots are size 41.5, and those were extremely comfortable right from the start.
Size 40 was too small: while walking, I could feel my toes hitting the front of the boot from the inside. Size 40 2/3, on the other hand, was too large. Tightening the laces did not help.
One of the lace attachment points also pressed very uncomfortably into my foot on the inside, roughly around the middle of the foot. Overall, the boots felt very stiff and bulky on my feet, especially compared with the Lowa Renegade GTX. I tried the Lowas on immediately after the Salomons, and it felt like walking on clouds (but those are not that durable unfortunately)
I have also tried the Salomon Quest 4 before, and I remember those feeling more comfortable, although I did not buy them either because I was similarly between two sizes.
Unfortunately, I have to return these.
