Product description
Soft, mid-cut walking boots for long distances
The Elixir Mid GTX from the French alpine experts at Salomon are excellent walking boots. Thanks to the soft material blend of nubuck leather and synthetic upper and the textile lining, they are very comfortable. They’re great for covering longer distances, so you can wear them on long hikes, treks or on holidays. The tongue and the upper have extra padding, ensuring comfort and protection. Enhanced comfort is provided by the moulded EVA insole, which supports the foot. In addition, they boast the ActiveChassis technology that provides very good lateral support, plenty of guidance, good manoeuvrability and freedom of movement. The mid-cut design provides additional support.
Waterproof and well cushioned
Thanks to the tried-and-tested GORE-TEX membrane, the material is both waterproof and breathable. A PFC-free coating also makes the upper water repellent. Another great feature includes the Energy Foam midsole, which is made from a lightweight, reactive foam with EVA to provide long-lasting cushioning properties with a good energy return. As a result, the boots will propel you forwards. The advantages at a glance:
- Comfortable, mid-cut walking boots
- Waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX
- Water-repellent treatment
- Good support and cushioning properties
- Great mobility
