Product description
Versatile approach shoes that are great for climbing: the Wildfire Edge from Salewa! The upper is made of leather and synthetic materials in a 3D cage frame structure to ensure a perfect balance between a form-fitting fit and stability. Another contributor to this amazing balance is the Pomoca Speed outsole, which provides excellent grip on crags, and traction whilst running. In addition, the collar’s Exa-Shell structure ensures that both the sides and front of your feet are stable and you can use the Switchfit-Adjustment lacing system to get the shoes ready for climbing. Plus, they feature a 3-F system which holds the sole, heel and lacing together to provide a great fit, flexibility and support. There are simply so many clever details that make the technical and versatile Wildfire Edge perfect for use on alpine terrain!
The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa with regard to environmental and social responsibility. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria and at least one additional criterion.
The mandatory criteria include: 1. Chemicals verified: more than 90% of the product weight meets at least one of the following criteria: a) the main fabric (for the entire product) has been chemically tested according to Oberalp's chemical guideline or b) the main fabric is bluesign-certified. 2. Factory monitored for social standards: the second obligatory criterion is that the factory where the product has been manufactured has been audited for social standards and working conditions by external audits.
The additional criteria, depending on the product, include upcycling, recycling, certain material compositions, PFC-free coatings or responsibly sourced down.
