Salewa - Ortles Med 3 RDS Down Jacket - Down jacket

The Ortles Med 3 RDS Down Jacket by Salewa provides excellent warmth and weather protection at an incredibly small pack size. This comfortable down jacket is wind-repellent, water-repellent and warm. Thanks to bodymapping technology, the materials of this jacket were used as efficiently as possible. The outer and inner were made of a fine but durable ripstop nylon. In addition, this jacket was filled with RDS-certified, 750-cuin duck down and a sustainable Tirol-Wool-Responsive blend.

The highly efficient design provides many functional features at an incredibly low weight. For this reason, this jacket has an adjustable, ergonomically articulated hood, elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem. In addition, it also features cleverly placed pockets and a smooth-running 2-way front zip that make the Ortles Med 3 RDS by Salewa even more comfortable to wear.

The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa with regard to environmental and social responsibility. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria and at least one additional criterion.

The mandatory criteria include: 1. Chemicals verified: more than 90% of the product weight meets at least one of the following criteria: a) the main fabric (for the entire product) has been chemically tested according to Oberalp's chemical guideline or b) the main fabric is bluesign-certified. 2. Factory monitored for social standards: the second obligatory criterion is that the factory where the product has been manufactured has been audited for social standards and working conditions by external audits.

The additional criteria, depending on the product, include upcycling, recycling, certain material compositions, PFC-free coatings or responsibly sourced down.
