Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
MUCH AS I LOVE DEUTER RUCKSACKS, IN THIS INSTANCE I WAS DRAWN TO THE
LOWE ALPINE/RAB MODEL - NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF THE OVERALL DESIGN OF THIS
PRODUCT, A TRADITIONAL PATTERN, TOP-LOADER, WHICH I FIND MORE
LIKELY TO BE DURABLE THAN THOSE WITH MORE ZIPS AND PANELS; BUT
ALSO THE STERNUM STRAP DESIGN - COMPARE AND CONTRAST.
(IT SEEMS TO ME THOSE DESIGNS WHICH RELY ON A SLIDER
RUNNING UP AND DOWN A MATERIAL TUBE POSE AN INHERENT WEAKNESS?]
WHILST I HAVEN'T HAD THIS SACK OUT ON MOUNTAIN/HILL YET, I DON'T
DOUBT ITS DUTRABILITY - IT'S MUCH AKIN TO LOWE ALPINE'S HALCYON
MODEL OF PRIOR YEARS, WHICH WAS POPULAR, AND NOTED FOR BEING BOMBPROOF.
GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY TOO!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
NEGATIVES? HARD TO THINK OF ANY.
PERHAPS A 50/55 VERSION WOULD BE USEFUL.

- A GOOD 'DO IT ALL' RUCKSACK
This rucksack is brilliantly flexible, lightweight but durable. We trekked 170 miles over the Pyrenees with these rucksacks and they still look the same as when we started out, given the weather conditions thrown at us, this is amazing. One of the best sacks I've ever owned. I would highly recommend it.
