Cleverly designed and as light as can be - the Petzl Sirocco Helmet! Thanks to its superlight hybrid construction consisting of a layer of polypropylene and polystyrene foam, this climbing helmet is tailored toward those who want to keep weight to a minimum and go fast. The foam will provide excellent protection from falling rock, as it alters its shape to absorb the energy of the impact. Plus, this helmet comes complete with a polycarbonate crown for added protection.The shape of the helmet envelopes the head, protecting from all sides. The Sirocco has an array of clever features as well, including vents for optimal airflow to prevent overheating as well as an excellent fit system with an adjustable headband and chinstrap. The chin strap comes complete with a magnetic buckle, making it easy to operate with a single hand. Attaching a head torch shouldn't be a problem either, thanks to the hooks and rear elastic strap. How light can it get? The Petzl Sirocco!

it's super light and comfy. It is meant to break apart if you hit your head, but allegedly will do the job protecting your head. in some way, it is a disposable helmet :-)
