Product description
Save weight and save energy with the Meteor by Petzl, a helmet for difficult tours under time pressure. This climbing helmet is up for any challenge, from mountaineering to sports climbing and ice climbing. It stands out for its low weight, high wearing comfort and effective ventilation properties! The Meteor is made of expanded polystyrene, a material that is also used for bicycle helmets. In case of an impact, the material deforms and thus absorbs the energy of the shock. The lightweight polycarbonate shell protects the foam against minor damages and slight shocks.
Moreover, the helmet stands out for a number of useful features such as four integrated clips for a firm mounting of the headlamp. In order to provide ice climbers with better safety, the meteor is compatible with the Vision face protector by Petzl. Thanks to buckles on the chinstrap and a sliding system on the back of the head, you can adjust the helmet to your personal head circumference. The practical magnetic closure of the chinstrap can also be used one-handed. With a flyweight such as Petzls Meteor, there is absolutely no excuse for climbing without a helmet.
