Apart from its hoodless counterpart, the Women's Ultralight Down Hooded Jacket is Patagonia's lightest down jacket for any alpine endeavor. Pertex Quantum provides half of the weight and twice the strength of most nylon shells, and it protects the lofty warmth inside with reliable water-resistance and complete windproofing. Patagonia's 800-fill down insulation comes from birds that were never force-fed or live-plucked, and it has a higher loft than most down jackets. The Ultralight Down Jacket stows inside its chest pocket for compact storage in your backpack.
