Product description
Weatherproof trousers for athletic outdoor activities
The Torrentshell 3L Pants are designed using a three-layer H2No Performance Standard shell. These waterproof and windproof trousers keep your legs dry in rainy weather and are also exceptionally environmentally friendly - they are even Fair Trade certified.
Waterproof H2No Performance Standard shell trousers
Patagonia uses recycled, organically-based and eco-friendly raw materials to create the Torrentshell 3L Pants. The three-layer hardshell trousers feature a breathable PU membrane, a soft inner lining and an elasticated waistband with an integrated drawstring, resulting in excellent wearing comfort.
In addition, a PFC-free DWR treatment on the outer surface forces water droplets, dirt particles and snow flakes to roll off effortlessly. Plus, the Patagonia waterproof trousers are ergonomically articulated and allow for comfortable running in rainy weather. Two practical zipped pockets complete the functional design of these weatherproof outdoor trousers.
The highlights at a glance:
- Weatherproof trousers with a breathable PU membrane
- Waterproof and windproof thanks to H2No Performance Standard shell
- Additional DWR treatment on outer
- Elasticated waistband with an integrated drawstring

Disadvantages
Nothing
I've worn this 6 times since it was delivered last Oct. Four were walking to and from the dog shelter where I volunteer 1 day a week, two were walking to and from a doctor's office. What I liked most was walking up a long steep hill in the rain, they breathed as well as cotton pants on a cloudless day. There is nothing I dislike about these pants.
