Product description
Lightweight, warming fleece jacket with hood
The R2 Techface Jacket from the American outdoor and sustainability experts at Patagonia is practical and versatile: it does a great job both as an insulating second layer and as a stand-alone. The smooth exterior is abrasion-resistant and durable, and inside the waffle-textured fleece warms for enhanced thermal insulation. This gives you the warmth of a regular, thicker fleece, but in a much lighter garment and with smaller packed dimensions! A PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating also makes the exterior permanently water repellent so you don't have to worry about drizzle or short showers, and the hood provides extra protection for the head.
High freedom of movement, sustainable production
The elastane content in the fabric ensures a good stretch, a good fit and, of course, high freedom of movement. The pockets are set a little higher so that you can also use them when wearing a climbing harness. And, as is customary with Patagonia, the sustainability concept is not neglected either: the fleece jacket is largely made from recycled fibres, the material is bluesign-approved; and the manufacturing process is Fair Trade-certified. Your advantages at a glance:
- light but warm fleece jacket
- hard-wearing
- small packed dimensions
- sustainable materials and sustainable production

Used this over recent months and it's great for fast moving activities, provides good wind resistance and breathability. It's light to pack when needed and fits close for layering over a lightweight fleece and under a shell
