Product description
Weatherproof jacket for children
Whether it's raining, snowing or there's a chilly wind blowing, with the Kid's Torrentshell 3L Jacket from Patagonia, children are well protected in any weather. In order to achieve this, Patagonia has designed the waterproof jacket using three-layer H2No Performance Standard shell, which perfectly protects your little one against rain and moisture with its PU membrane. Plus, the high collar and weatherproof hood provide children with all-round protection from the elements.
Hardshell jacket with a water-repellent DWR treatment
The Kid's Torrentshell 3L Jacket is not only waterproof and windproof, but also allows moisture to escape from the inside to the outside. A combination of 50D ECONYL made from recycled ripstop nylon and a PU membrane with organically-based raw materials guarantee high functionality. In addition, the PFC-free DWR treatment repels water droplets and dirt particles, forcing them to bead up on the outer of the jacket.
Patagonia equips the children's jacket with a full-length front zip and a chin guard. Two comfortable front pockets and elasticated cuffs complete this comfortable waterproof jacket. Last but not least, bright reflectors on the sleeves ensure that children are easy to spot, even in the dark. The highlights at a glance:
- Weatherproof jacket for children
- With elasticated cuffs and hood
- Waterproof and windproof thanks to H2No Performance Standard shell
- Comfortable pockets and highly visible reflectors

True 3L membrane. Good fit. True to size. Clearly the best amongst children jackets.
Patagonia is the best of the gang but even they omit a drawstring at waist and a drawstring for the hem. You cannot find that on any of the children jackets. If you need size XXL then you might consider the adult XS product instead - that has slightly longer arms (3-4cm) but also has all the drawstrings to perfectly shape the hem + it has side vent zips too, although the zip on the adult version is a bit downgraded.
