Product description
An excellent, no-frills mountaineering backpack: the Peak Light 32 from Ortovox! This 32-litre pack is designed to be narrow, making it perfect for climbing and high-altitude mountaineering. Plus, it's got all the tool holder slots and such that you need for alpine projects! These include an attachment option for your rope, a helmet holder and even an A-Skifix. The lid compartment comes complete with taped seams for protection from water, and the circumferential zip makes opening the backpack easy, allowing you to get a rough idea of where things are.The special thing about the Peak Light 32 is the Swisswool Inside back system. This is a foam back panel with pressed Swiss wool covered with 3D high-tech knit. These wool pads have been placed in the areas where the backpack touches the body. They are capable of absorbing large amounts of moisture without making your back feel wet. The back plate is removable, the hip straps with the hip pockets are detachable and so are the lid pocket and the ice axe holder. If you take all that, the backpack only weighs 600 grams. In sum: This pack is extremely versatile and comes with all sorts of useful features.
