How warm and insulated is it I need equivalent of 800 down

Looking for very warm waterproof jacket. For winter walking hiking and bad weather. I would prefer to have a synthetic insulation to using down. Other jacket I’m considering is a Rab Resolution.

Hello Grahame, Considering the jacket is using PrimaLoft Silver Eco , there is no way this will be as warm as the Rab Resolution. It will however be warm and ideal for activity on very cold days and given the GTX outer shell it will be more weather resistant than the Resolution in my opinion.
