Product description
The Tellem 4 LW from Nomad is a robust and spacious tent for as many as four people. With its durable, lightweight material and generous interior, it’s a great all-purpose tent that will serve you just as well on a camping holiday as it will on canoe trips or multi-day cycling tours. The Tellem 4 LW is made of tough polyester and comes complete with strong aluminium poles. Polyester is a lightweight material that dries quickly and can withstand up to 48 hours packed even when wet, so it’s the perfect material whenever you’re in a hurry in the morning and don’t have time to dry the tent. For tear resistance, Nomad has used ripstop technology on the fly as well. Another great thing about this tent is that the fly, inner tent and groundsheet all have fire-retardant properties. Plus, there’s a PU coating on the flysheet and groundsheet to add waterproof protection. The strong, yet lightweight poles are from DAC and make the tent exceptionally sturdy. The Tellem 4 LW has a tunnel tent design, which has quite a few advantages:
- it has a high level of structural stability lengthwise in windy conditions
- the steep walls make for a spacious interior
- the tent has a tall, spacious vestibule for optimum comfort
- the integrated inner tent makes it easy to pitch, especially in rainy weather
In addition to the spacious sleeping area and vestibule, the tunnel tent boasts an array of practical features that make everyday camp life easier. For one, the foot end of sleeping area is in the shape of a trapezoid for additional space, and the sleeping area can be divided into two using the divider. Several mesh pockets and a large organiser in the vestibule make keeping the tent tidy and organised easier. The mud protection along with the footprint keeps the entry clean and dry. The curtained PVC window allows light into the tent, while the two vestibule entrances make for easy entry and exit. Last but certainly not least, there are glow-in-the-dark guy line stoppers and reflective guy lines to increase the visibility of the tent.
