The perfect companion for hunting in wild terrain: the Metcalf 50 trekking backpack from Mystery Ranch! With its durable materials and modular design, the versatile hunting and outdoor backpack has everything you need for a long season in the bush. Its special Ultra Light MT frame is very light thanks to its tapered lower width, yet extremely strong. This, along with the micro-adjustable load sling sets new frame standards for minimalist backcountry hunting backpacks.
The Metcalf 50 is light enough to be used as a day and weekend backpack, but also strong enough to carry all your important equipment as well as your hunting bag. There is room for small items in the lid compartment - unless you remove the lid to make a smaller backpack.
Special design for versatile use
The patented overload feature is also great. It offers functional expandability via a load sling between the pack and the frame, allowing the majority of the weight to be shifted close to the back. Other benefits include easy access to the main compartment via a roll-top and side zip, and a host of cleverly positioned pockets, attachment points and compression straps.
