Waterproof hardshell jacket with a breathable membrane
The Women's Makalu Jacket hardshell jacket from Mountain Equipment features a fully waterproof and windproof 3-layer laminate with an ePE GORE-TEX membrane. It keeps you reliably dry, whether you're out on a high-altitude hike, mountaineering, or on longer trekking trips. Meanwhile, the breathable membrane quickly wicks moisture away from your body, helping you to maintain a comfortable body temperature. For extra ventilation, you can open the underarm zips if needed to improve air circulation.
Compatible with helmets and harnesses
Mountain Equipment has designed the hood of the Women's Makalu Jacket hardshell jacket to fit easily over your ski or climbing helmet. Plus, its elasticated drawstrings allow you to adjust it for the perfect fit. The sleeves can also be adjusted for a snug fit over your gloves.
In addition, three zipped front pockets are positioned so that they remain easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness. Lastly, the two-way front zip gives you easy access to the pull tab on your harness at any time.
