I bought these boots in October 2016. They took several hikes to break in but eventually were comfortable. I used them on an approach climbing in Colorado. After two climbs I noticed the seams on the sides opening up. After looking closer I could see that the stitching was a braided which lead to the seams popping open. The reason for this is because this boot has a very narrow sole. I have a narrow foot but the sole is so narrow that the upper is very exposed to abrasion of the stitching. The approaches in Colorado were on trails through skree. These boots were not abused but used as intended by the manufacturer. Millet will not honor their two year warranty because I didn't save the receipt, even though I registered them online at the time of purchase. I'm hoping my local shoe repair guy will be able to fix them. I would also caution anyone from buying boots or shoes in this line due to the narrow sole. I have to admit, it's a good looking boot but technically disappointing.
