Plus, thanks to the taped seams, water will be kept out of the jacket. For enhanced durability, the material has also been equipped with a PFC-free DWR treatment.

The side pockets are not easy to access when wearing a day pack; so you do need to undo the waist belt. However the side pockets can be accessed when wearing a climbing harness.
