The Women’s Taiss Insulation Hooded Jacket from Mammut is designed to provide you with the best possible support in harsh mountain conditions. The high-quality fill materials ensure comfortable warmth in low temperatures. When cold weather arrives with rain showers in tow, the jacket impresses with synthetic fibre materials in areas that are particularly susceptible to moisture. This keeps you warm and dry inside the jacket, even in snow and rain.
The sleeves are pre-moulded for optimum freedom of movement. The hem can be adjusted in one easy step for a perfect fit. Large pockets are integrated for the most important small items. These are equipped with zips to keep the items you carry safe. Hi Monika,
Airing out after use and wiping away any dirt / stains with a damp cloth will be fine most of the time but at some point you may want to wash it.
30 Degree synthetic cycle , low spin wash with a down detergent. Drying is then the important thing and best to use a tumble drier at a low temperature (30) and for a long period. For a jacket like this it will easily need 2 or more hours to dry properly. Also a good idea to add a tennis ball or two into the drier to help declump the down and give the jacket a good shake in between cycles.
