Product description
Keeps rain and wind reliably out
The Women’s Eiger Free Advanced HS Hooded Jacket from Mammut gives you reliable protection in wet and windy weather thanks to its robust hardshell construction with a GORE-TEX membrane. It keeps out rain and wind whilst allowing moisture to escape from the inside. A hydrostatic head of 28,000 mm and a breathability rating of RET 14–20 deliver excellent waterproofing and adequate breathability. The DWR treatment makes the outer fabric water-repellent, whilst recycled polyamide rounds off the material profile.
Ventilate quickly during exertion
During strenuous climbs, you can use the underarm zips for quick ventilation without taking off the jacket. The adjustable, helmet-compatible hood provides reliable protection in changeable weather. A powder skirt prevents snow from getting in, whilst the 2-way front zip with an underlap, drawcord at the hem and hook-and-loop fasteners at the cuffs ensure flexible adjustment and additional protection.
RECCO reflector enhances your safety
2 zipped chest pockets provide secure, easily accessible storage, complemented by 2 inside pockets for extra organisation. An integrated RECCO reflector assists professional rescue teams in locating you in an emergency. The jacket has a regular fit, so you can easily wear it over a mid layer. It weighs 600 g, remaining comfortable to wear on long tours.
All the product benefits at a glance:
- GORE-TEX membrane protects against rain and wind
- Effective ventilation with underarm zips
- Helmet-compatible hood with adjustable fit
- RECCO reflector for added safety
- Chest and internal pockets offer plenty of storage space
