Product description
For high safety features in demanding terrains - Pendi 8.0 Dry by Mammut! The exclusive Bergfreunde-rope was certified multiple times and thus can be used as half or twin rope. Therefore, it is considered a true all-rounder - from ice climbing to alpine trad routes and mountaineering it simply can be used for anything. Since the rope’s coat as well core were completely covered with the Dry Treatment, it is UIAA water repellent certified. Therefore, the rope soaks up only 1.5 % of its weight when getting in touch with water and humidity (ice and snow). This allows the rope to maintain its performance features because the rope does not get heavy, does not freeze and stays reliable and safe in usage.
Furthermore, it impresses with its low weight, achieved among others with its small rope diameter - perfect for challenging tours, where every gram counts. The Coated Core and Coated Sheath refining technology are additional bonuses of the Pendi 8.0 Dry features, ensuring a smooth and pleasant handling. Convincing is also the minimum impact force, which puts less burden on security chains, especially on alpine paths, where you have to secure yourself and thus ensures a softer fall. Last but not least, the rope was produced using environmental friendly and sustainable methods, in accordance with the bluesign regulations. No matter if it is used for extended rock tours during summertime or for ice climbing during wintertime - with the Mammut Pendi 8.0 Dry you acquire a top equipped all-rounder with the best price/performance ratio.

  • UIAA water repellent
  • Versatile usable as half and twin rope on the rock and ice.
  • Brand quality and great price-performance ratio provided by Mammut.

Tolles Seil!
