A coated, lightweight rope with multiple approvals
For high safety features in demanding terrains - Pendi 8.0 Dry from Mammut! The rope is certified as a half and twin rope. Therefore, it is considered a true all-rounder - from ice climbing to alpine routes up to classic mountaineering, it can be used for anything. Since the rope's sheath as well as the core were completely covered with the dry treatment, it is UIAA water repellent certified. Therefore, the rope soaks up only 1.5% of its weight when getting in touch with water and humidity (ice and snow). This allows the rope to maintain its performance features because the rope does not get heavy, does not freeze and stays reliable and safe in usage.
Furthermore, it has an impressively low weight, which was achieved among others with its small rope diameter - perfect for challenging tours, where every gram counts. The Coated Core and Sheath refining technology are additional bonuses of the Pendi 8.0 Dry features, ensuring a smooth and pleasant handling.
