Product description
Maximum performance with minimum weight
The 8.7 Alpine Sender Dry Rope from Mammut is a versatile climbing rope with a length of 70 metres. With its triple certification, it can be used as a half rope, a single rope or a twin rope. Thanks to its Sender design, it is extremely lightweight, weighing just 51 grams per metre. Plus, it is permanently water and dirt repellent in accordance with UIAA standards, ensuring maximum safety even under the toughest conditions. This is achieved through the use of a PFC-free DWR treatment and the Dry finish, which also optimises the wear resistance of the rope.
Easy and secure handling during complicated manoeuvres
In addition, the high level of durability and quality of the rope is also reflected in its comfortable handling with ready-to-climb properties. As a result, this rope is free of tangles and does not need to be unwound before its first use. Meanwhile, the abrasion-resistant and easily recognisable centre marking also contributes to the pleasantly easy handling of the Alpine Sender single rope.
Key benefits:
- Versatile for sport climbing, rock, ice and mixed climbing
- Weatherproof for tough conditions
- High reliability and durability
