The Drone High Volume 2.0 Comp Series from Mad Rock are climbing shoes for specialists. Their construction features a very large and extremely high-traction rubber toe area, making them ideal for technically demanding competition bouldering and climbing.
Aggressive construction
These shoes boast an aggressive last with a strong downturn. Plus, the special concave sole shape efficiently transfers power to the toes and enables exceptionally precise and stable footing, even on the smallest of ledges.
Non-slip sole
The soft Xtreme Friction rubber sole is designed for modern competition bouldering and climbing. It offers excellent grip and makes smearing much easier. In addition, it is also extremely tough and durable.
Wide fit
The high-volume version of the Drone 2.0 features a slightly wider toe box and a more voluminous heel area. As a result, this model is particularly suitable for climbers and boulderers with wide feet.

Incredible climbing shoes, great fit and very sticky rubber. Soft enough for smearing while maintaining a rigidity for edging. I did find the rubber a little unreliable on tiny edges or trusting small pebbles as footholds outside on grit.
