The Renegade GTX Lo from LOWA are comfortable, durable mid-cut walking shoes for on or off-road use. The nubuck leather offers more resistance and durability. They’re also equipped with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, so your feet will stay dry in wet and damp conditions. With these versatile shoes, you’ll be perfectly equipped for small and big adventures in everyday life and activities.
Vibram Evo Trac sole for the best possible traction
They feature a self-cleaning Vibram Evo Trac sole, a multifunctional tread design and the proven rubber compound. The special design of the toe and heel ensure comfort when walking uphill and downhill. The sole construction also ensures good traction on a wide variety of surfaces. The Renegade GTX Lo features a Soft Stabilizer nylon insert in the ankle area to provide optimal stability for outdoor use. Multiple layers of the Double Injection midsole are moulded in a complex injection process to optimise the cushioning properties.
Midsole made of LOWA DynaPU for outstanding cushioning properties
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behaviour and cushioning properties. In the Renegade GTX Lo, this consists of a specially developed synthetic material: LOWA DynaPU. Even if the midsole is compressed a thousand times, it retains its resilience. As a result, the good cushioning properties are retained even after many kilometres.

I've lost count of the amount of shoes I have bought they all felt good in the shop and after a few miles start to hurt here or there but after buying these in a wide fitting my feet are in heaven.
I do a lot of walking on trails and to be fair around town and these shoes were comfortable straight from the box.
The shoes are smart enough to wear out going for a beer.
