Question from Sue
07.09.2022
Do I need collapsible nordic poles for flying?

Max collapsed length would ideally be 40cm to fit in my (small) suitcase. Or am I worrying unnecessarily? Can I just carry uncollapsed poles onto a flight?!

Hi Sue, If you do not have collapsible poles they will most likely have to be placed in the hold for the flight. The following folding poles will meet your needs in terms of packed length:

Hi Diana, For a fixed length pole I woul suggest a pole length of 110cm. With these being adjustable there'll be no problem with the size for you.
