Built for approaches, hill walking and easy climbing passages: Meet the Women’s TX Guide approach shoes from La Sportiva. The shoes feature a Vibram IdroGrip mix in the front and a Vibram MegaGrip with an additional Impact Brake System at the heel area. Plus, La Sportiva equipped the approach shoes with a climbing zone, which eases standing on small ledges. In addition, the Women’s TX Guide boasts a highly abrasion-resistant mesh fabric and reinforced toes to prevent damage caused by stones and roots. But that’s not all: thanks to its amazing lacing system and running-fit tongue, the La Sportiva shoes are perfect for approaches.

Hi Lydia, We cannot say what glue has been used for the bonding of the sole etc but otherwise the shoe is completely synthetic.
