Time: First impressions after a 5 km walk and an short 11.5 km trail run.
Recommended use: Trail running, especially shorter and faster runs.
Positive: Beautiful shoe, light, responsive and fun to run in. The midsole feels lively and almost encourages you to pick up the pace. Overall volume and lockdown are good.
Negative: Sizing and toe box shape. I had read that they run small, so I ordered EU 49.5 instead of my usual 48.5. The overall length is OK, and my feet are narrow, so this is not a width issue. However, my big toes are quite straight, and they touch the inner/front curve of the toe box more than they should. It is not simply a length issue, but more of a toe box geometry issue for my foot. Unfortunately, EU 50 is not available for this model. Therefore, I will be careful before choosing them for long distances.
If you can try them on before buying, definitely do. Fit may be tricky. Still, it is a great-looking and very enjoyable shoe, and I am happy to keep using it.
