Technical shoes for ice climbing
The Mega Ice Evo from La Sportiva are the perfect shoes for competitions. They have pre-mounted Cassin Dry crampons that are both light and precise, so you can use the shoes immediately. They feature a microfibre and stretchy upper that’ll wick moisture away to the outside, so the shoes will feel light. As for the gaiters, they’re also made of a water-repellent, stretchy and abrasion-resistant fabric. Thanks to the carbon fibre footbed, the Mega Ice Evo are also very comfortable to wear.

Very comfortable and light with secure lacing, fit is as La Sportiva approach shoes. Easy to put on and remove. The supplied Cassin crampons are geared for outdoor use, ideal for small edges. I use them on plywood kickboards so have swapped out the front section for specific competition models.
Delivery and service from Alpinetrek was good, would recommend!

All thanks to Bergfreunde! Despite the late order, I received the goods just in time, for Christmas. Thanks again to the team! La sportiva drytooling shoes are great for this price. It is necessary to replace the crampons because they are not the best, but overall I am very happy with the purchase.
