Solid climbing boots for rough conditions
The G-Tech from La Sportiva are made for technical mountaineering. They’re ideal for ice climbing and mixed climbing, high mountains and goulottes. They ensure maximum performance in technical and extreme situations. Inside, there is a Heat-Tech collar with an overlapping design for maximum warmth and lightness. In addition, they feature a zip and a BOA dial to easily put on and take off the boots. You can also make adjustments when you’re on the go. Another great feature includes the integrated gaiter that’s made of a water-repellent, stretchy, abrasion-resistant and heat-resistant fabric. Thanks to the water-repellent gusset, moisture won’t get inside.
Perfect fit for a good performance on the wall
The innovative lacing system ensures an excellent fit. This provides great control, especially on technical passages. In addition, they’re equipped with a two-part Vibram outsole that ensures the best performance when climbing and walking. The Vibram LiteBase at the front of the sole reduces the weight and offers good traction whilst climbing. As for the Vibram SpringLug at the heel, it improves comfort when walking. The boots can be resoled completely (toe and heel) or only in the front, to prevent a negative impact on the environment.

Hi Ross, Nothing more thatn the following is stated by La Sportiva, "The reference point for technical mountaineering. Perfect for ice and mixed modern climbing, high-altitude mountaineering and goulottes climbing. Guarantees maximum performance in the most demanding situations and even in extreme environmental conditions."
These will not be a s warm as the G5 Evo so that would suggest that they should be ideal for up to around 6,000m.
