Product description
The Waxenstein Bio from Hanwag sets all new standards when it comes to sustainable walking boots. The boots boast a beautiful leather upper constructed using leather from cows that lived on organic farms. The interior is fitted with incredibly soft, chrome-free leather lining that feels great against the foot.
The Straight-Fit last really lives up to its name, creating a glove-like fit that provides support in all the right places without any unpleasant chafing or pressure points. Additional padding at the heel and ball of the foot provides extra cushioning. As for the outsole, the boot features a biodegradable outsole from Vibram for a smooth heel-to-toe transition and optimum grip. In other words, you’ll have the surefootedness you need and be able to walk fatigue-free, even in rough terrain - and you can do so knowing you’re helping protect the environment with these incredibly innovative boots!
