The boot's GORE-TEX insert guarantees you get waterproof, breathable protection when the trail is more like a stream. Nubuck and Cordura on top rebuff trail debris while remaining flexible, while the leather lining is comfortable and naturally breathable. The Deep Pull lacing system employs special clamps on the side to firmly hold your foot in place, and the laces run the length of the boot to give you a secure fit. The Air-Pulse system in the tongue increases fresh air exchange while cushioning the top of your foot. Don't fear felled trees or large boulders in your way - a substantive rubber toe cap saves your tootsies from severe injury. Vibram on the bottom readily rolls along with your gait at the same time it greedily grabs the ground for reliable traction over a variety of terrain types.

I have been using these boots for a few weeks now. I especially like how comfortable and lightweight they are. No issues with blisters or anything like that. Literally put on and walk off. I have used them both indoors and out while working at the Tour of Cambridgeshire weekend. I am going to be using them shortly on a 20 mile hike. There was nothing that I didn't like about them. I also found the cleaning and waterproofing products easy to use.

The Lady Banks GTX isn't available as Wide version in our shop. Therefore I can only recommend to try the Hanwag - Banks GTX for men instead.
