Product description
With the North Machine Carbon Hammer by Grivel, frozen north faces can't stop you! This ice tool comes with an extremely light and robust shaft made of carbon composite. Therefore, the tool is suitable for demanding ice and mixed routes where you have to reduce the weight of your equipment to a minimum. With its reverse positive grinding, the hot-forged chromoly pick drives through the thickest ice layers and even provides grip on thin ice with rock underneath. The integrated hammer head qualifies the North Machine Carbon for highly technical routes that require lots of gear.
Thanks to its rubberized and ergonomically preformed handle, the type 2 G Bone shaft (formerly type T) offers reliable grip at all times. With these features, the hammer is highly comfortable to use and provides maximum performance even on overhanging icefalls! When 90° aren't steep enough, it's time for Grivel's state-of-the-art North Machine Carbon Hammer.
