Unfortunately size comes out large
I thought these were just what I wanted to wear around the house, they've got a good sole for the stairs (I'm old!). Unfortunately they soon became too loose around the heel. They are well made, sensible shoes, but alas not right for me.

Is the sole grippy?
Could you tell me about the sole? I use this sort of shoe as a house shoe/slipper. I'm old, I don't want to fall down the stairs. Many thanks.
