Durable, versatile and powerful mountain companions
Perfect partners for alpine terrain - the Akron Mid GTX from Garmont! These durable and comfortable walking boots feature a mid-cut suede collar and RPU inserts, making them ideal for frequent and intensive mountaineering. Plus, their lining is equipped with the innovative GTX Extended Comfort ePE membrane, which contains recycled materials and is PFC-free. This offers reliable weather protection with high breathability and minimal weight. On the underside of your feet, the Ortholite Ultra footbed with partially recycled PU foam ensures maximum support and comfort.
Performance and comfort down to the last detail
In addition, these hiking boots feature consistently high-quality components, including integrated ankle gaiters, which prevent dirt from entering, and a Heel Lock System, which prevents the heel from slipping and blisters from forming. Other special details of the Akron Mid mountaineering boots are the anatomical tongue, which adapts to the shape of your foot, as well as the asymmetrical ankle cuff, which ensures greater overall stability and comfort when traversing or climbing.
