The exclusive special edition of the legendary jacket designed for lumberjacks in 1914: the Mackinaw Wool Hooded Cruiser from Filson.
It features a Mackinaw wool outer material that’s manufactured in an exceptionally dense weave that effectively repels wind while remaining breathable. The moisture-regulating wool will transport moisture to the surface of the fibres so that you stay warm even when wet.
The jacket with hood combines a traditional design with modern comfort and is fully lined with high-quality Alaskan Guide flannel for extra warmth and cosiness. The hood can be opened in the middle with a zip and lies flat on the back when you don't need it.
Functionality and innovation
The jacket's tried-and-tested pocket configuration has been expanded to include two high pockets that can be accessed from a seated position. These pockets, as well as the lower ones, are lined with warm cotton flannel. The full-length back pocket, originally designed for maps and measurement plans, is also lined so that the upper body stays warm.
