For two people trekking or cycling, the Venus II UL 2-person tent from Exped offers plenty of space with ideal freedom of movement. Each long side has its own entrance and an adjacent vestibule with sufficient storage space for walking boots and trekking backpacks.

Wind-resistant 3-season tent with reliable weatherproofing

The interior of the Venus II UL measures a comfortable 220 x 130 cm. Plus, with an interior height of 112 cm, the Exped tent is extremely comfortable. The vestibules and entrance areas extend beyond this at a length of one metre. Exped uses lightweight and durable 15D ripstop nylon for the outer tent, which protects you against the elements with silicone and a PU coating. In addition, the inner tent is also made from 15D ripstop nylon and is complemented by 20D No-See-Um mosquito netting. The groundsheet is made from 40D ripstop nylon laminate with a hydrostatic head of 10000 mm.

This tent features a lightweight and wind-stable construction held by DAC Featherlite NFL TH72M poles with a thickness of 9.3 mm and 10.25 mm. Aluminium rods are used in internal rod channels to save weight, yet still impress with their high stability and durability. With four fixed guy-out points and pre-fitted Dyneema guy ropes, the Venus II UL is quick and easy to set up. As a bonus for stony ground, Exped offers a matching footprint to complement the trekking tent. With just 2.4 kg of weight and a 46 x 14 cm pack size, the Exped tent is the ideal mix of stability and lightness for demanding trekking tours, multi-day hikes and bike trips.
