With a comfort rating of -10°C, the Ultra -20° down sleeping bag from Exped is also perfect for winter touring in colder regions. It’s made of high-quality and environmentally friendly materials that are very lightweight.
Mummy sleeping bag for winter tours
The Ultra -20° down sleeping bag is made of 10D ripstop nylon Pertex Quantum fabric and filled with European goose down. Depending on the length and the width you select, the fill will weigh somewhere between 900 g and 1105 g. The fill power of 850 cuin offers toasty warmth and ensures a pleasant night's sleep even in icy temperatures. Overall, the sleeping bag will weigh between 1300 g and 1495 g depending on the model. In addition, size M can be folded down to a size of 29 x 29 x 16 cm, so it’ll fit in your trekking backpack.
Some other great features include the proportional differential cut, which offers more mobility, the 3D footbox and the elliptical draught collar for warmth and comfort. The water-repellent outer that’ll protect the down fill against moisture perfectly rounds off the sleeping bag’s features.
