With a thickness of 12 cm, Exped's MegaMat Lite is not only one of the thicker sleeping mats on the market, but also one of the more comfortable ones. So, it’ll come as no surprise that trekkers who refuse to sacrifice comfort turn to this mat when they’re covering longer distances. Filled with a polyester microfleece, the mat provides excellent insulation in temperatures that fall into the double digits below zero. For added warmth and comfort, the mat has a 3D construction, which creates an edge-to-edge sleeping surface.
The top of this thick, comfortable mat is made of brushed tricot and is honeycomb embossed to prevent your sleeping bag sliding off. The mat has an extra-large flat valve for speedy deflation and comes with the true and true Schnozzel Pumpbag for quick and easy inflation. That way, you won’t collapse trying to blow it up with your mouth!
In addition to trekking, the thick MegaMat Lite from Exped is a great option for sleeping in a van or station wag as well.
