The belay/rappel device Mega Jul from Edelrid has won prestigious awards such as the Editor's Choice Award from the magazines Climbing and Outdoor. And, this device certainly deserved it, for not only can it belay a leader and two followers, but it's suited for abseiling and has a high braking performance as well. It is suitable for single and twin ropes with a diameter of 7.8 to 10.50 mm. Made of stainless steel, the device is lightweight and incredibly strong. What's more, there is an additional eyelet for releasing the unit with a carabiner when bringing up your partner. Plus, by holding the device in the open position, you can pay out slack to a leader much faster.
In addition to the Mega Jul belay device, this set includes the Bulletproof Screwgate carabiner from Edelrid. Not only does this device have an incredible breaking strength at a very low weight, but it also comes with a steel inlet, making the carabiner even stronger.
