Product description
Those who want to gradually try out a smaller rope diameter will be right at home with the Boa 9.8 mm + Liner by Edelrid! This single rope stands out for its smooth, comfortable handling which is achieved through its Thermo Shield treatment. This is used to fine-tune the rope's core and mantle with a special heat treatment, so the core doesn't push against the mantle and the fibres can't shrink. This makes the rope a lot more robust to make it run more smoothly through the belays.
The high sheath percentage also increases the durability of the rope. This Bluesign certified rope is produced in an sustainable way, following very strict environmental regulations ? which is great for the planet. Last but not least, there is also a Liner Rope bag by Edelrid included, so you can get going on your first route right away. For long sessions in a hall, where you spend your time bouldering, or for more demanding sports climbing on rocks, where your rope will have to deal with a lot of contact on the rocks ? the Edelrid Boa 9.8 mm + Liner is a solid companion!
