Hi Susan, Duckfeet are not sold as being water proof but the leather is treated and they will be water repellent, It is however, important to care for the leather over the course of time. This wax is to be applied simply with the fingers and rubed over the leather. This will keep the leather in good condition and help maintain the water repellency.
