Product description
The Alpin Tour Plus Dragon from Climbing Technology is a classic and reliable ice axe for ski, alpine and glacier crossings. This ice axe offers numerous practical features that can make your progress much easier.
The head is made from hardened steel, which makes this pick and shovel particularly robust. Plus, the pick bites well into the ice, thereby ensuring a secure hold even in steeper passages. The shaft, on the other hand, is made from a light metal and helps to save weight, while the bend also facilitates handling.
In addition, the steel spike at the bottom of the shaft is very practical, especially when walking. The rubberised handle also ensures a good grip at all times and makes it much easier to hold, especially with wet gloves. Moreover, it also provides pleasant thermal insulation. Based on your height I would think the 50cm length to be the best choice. 60cm will most likely feel too long for you.
