These gloves to a great job at keeping your hands wam and dry even in the chillier winter months while still being lightweight and non-bulky. For the very coldest conditions they'll struggle but in most temperate European climates they're more than adequate for cold winter mornings. The only drawback is I've found the cuff material to be a bit delicate so you need to take care when taking them on and off to avoid tears but otherwise they do a great job and their lack of bulk means you still have dexterity even in the cold weather.
