Grivel: The ice climbing professionals

The Grivel family began producing devices for mountaineers in its forge in Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc in 1818. A small change to the workman's pick marked the birth of the ice pick! Today, Grivel is creating equipment for tackling the hardest mountain routes, and is constantly bringing new innovation to the development of ice climbing gear. For example, the company works with the CE standardisation committee.
