Product description

The Boreal Ninja was specifically designed for bouldering and indoor climbing. These climbing slippers boast a performance-oriented design with a micro-fibre upper that adapts beautifully to different foot shapes, resulting in a perfect fit. For an easy on/off, not only is the upper flexible, but the shoe also comes with three pull tabs. As for the sole, it is medium-stiff to provide a good amount of sensitivity, support and flexibility. Plus, it has an aggressive downturn and loads of heel tension for efficient power transfer and thus increased precision. Thanks to the rubber at the heel and toe, the shoes have excellent hooking ability as well.

Nice cross between slipper / performance shoe

In general, I really like the shoe. As a performance shoe, I would say it functions pretty well, or as well as I imagine that a "slipper-performance" shoe can. I like that its a slipper - easy to get on and off, toe hooks work great, edge stability great, quality is pretty good, after 3 months of use indoors and out, it shows some wear, mainly in the toe area where the rubber connects to the synthetic, but nothing that has had an impact on the actual performance, rubber feels nice indoors and outdoors (I've mostly used it outdoors - nice and fast to switch back to hiking shoes to move between crags). Lots of nice things about the shoe and would recommend.

Only small downside is heel hooking, at least for me, the heel slips a bit inside the shoe. However this happens with most slipper / non- adjustable shoes.
