Product description
The Choucas Light from Blue Ice is so lightweight and packable that can be stuffed in your jacket pocket! Plus, it is in accordance with current safety standards and comes equipped with elastic leg loops that you can open. This will certainly come in useful when you're wearing crampons or skis! You won't even have to release the binding! So, if you're participating in a ski touring race like the Patrouille des Glaciers that requires you to have a harness, you won't have to lug around a bunch of extra weight or lose time slipping it on and off.
But, you don't have to participate in a race to appreciate everything this harness has to offer: With its super-light weight and packability, the Choucas Light climbing harness from Blue Ice is an excellent choice for any mountaineer. After all, it's perfect for alpine terrain and comes equipped with 2 gear loops and 2 ice screw holders. The only thing is, you can't hang it for long periods. It's simply not padded enough for crevasse rescue training, belaying a partner, etc.

This is what other customers say:
Really pleased with this, but the manufacturer's sizing information and advice is inaccurate. I am a waist 89 cm and thigh 61 cm, and had originally ordered a Large on the advice by Blue Ice to size-up if unsure. In fact, even worn over salopettes and a jacket the Large was way too large and couldn't be adjusted to a safe fit. I re-ordered in Medium, which fits perfectly over layers with some extra slack to accommodate more layers if I need them.
