Its design is based on classic mountaineering picks and is specially perfect for long glacier tours. The ice axe is available in different sizes, so you’ll find the one that best suits your height and needs. It features a steel spike at the end of the shaft, so you can also climb in moderately steep terrain. As for the pick, it offers excellent grip and can penetrate hard ice thanks to the modern tip. Another great feature includes the head with the large hole for a carabiner to which you can attach a wrist strap. For added comfort, it has a trapezoidal cross-section, which allows the shaft to lie nicely in your hand and makes it more durable.
