Average biner
If you are looking to minimize weight better go for BD Miniwire or CAMP Nano 22 (cheaper! same performance). The Litewire doesn't handle significantly better compared to these but is much heavier.

No, I would not recommend this product to a friend
Lovely little carabiner
Good to have on your harness and forget about it until you need it as it's light and small - maybe to build an anchor with two of them, or leave it as a bail 'biner. I also use one to keep my water bottle secure to the outside of my bag.
