Product description
The Black Gold Chalk from Black Diamond combines quality with innovation. Developed by Swedish researchers at Uppsala University, the so-called Upsalite takes moisture absorption to a whole new level. The sponge-like surface, which is about ten times larger than that of conventional chalk, makes this possible. Mixed with high-quality White Gold, Black Gold Chalk is a magnesium carbonate that can absorb 30% more moisture than other compounds.

This is my least favorite high-end climbing-specific chalk I have tried. It is hard to get enough on your hands at the start of a session. It is also extremely greasy giving the feeling that you are slipping instead of increasing friction.
It is good for sweaty hands though!
